Juno Beach is a seaside community located on a barrier island along the Atlantic Coastal Ridge. It was created by the cutting of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. The waterways provide part of the attraction of this cozy place to live and play.
You can bring your furry bestie and camera to enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets at the beach here for unforgettable memories. The full-service Pier House on the beach features a snack bar, as well as a variety of fishing tackle, including rental poles and bait, so grab a pole and relax to the sound of the waves. This is a popular place on weekends.
Juno Beach was one of five beaches of the Allied invasion of German-occupied France in the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944 during the Second World War.
