Riviera Beach is a city is located in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Of all the West Palm Beach beaches, this barrier island features some of the area’s nicest parks. John D. MacArthur Beach State Park boasts a maritime hammock and mangroves, two miles of oceanfront beach, a boardwalk, picnic areas, a nature center with guided tours and live exhibits. Calm surf makes this a good spot for families.

We found this a nice beach full of families on the day we visited.

North Palm Beach, Florida

North Palm Beach, Florida at Lakeside Park.  This little park is nice! Dog friendly beach and lots of trees to stay under to keep cool from the summer sun! There’s a great view, water is warm, and also a little shelter to have a small gathering or get together!

Parking was limited.  Beautiful park for relaxing, walking, fishing, swimming or just hanging out for a picnic.

 

Juno Beach, Florida

Juno Beach is a seaside community located on a barrier island along the Atlantic Coastal Ridge. It was created by the cutting of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. The waterways provide part of the attraction of this cozy place to live and play.

You can bring your furry bestie and camera to enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets at the beach here for unforgettable memories. The full-service Pier House on the beach features a snack bar, as well as a variety of fishing tackle, including rental poles and bait, so grab a pole and relax to the sound of the waves.  This is a popular place on weekends.

Juno Beach was one of five beaches of the Allied invasion of German-occupied France in the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944 during the Second World War.

 

Jupiter Island’s Blowing Rock Preserve Park, Florida

Blowing Rocks Preserve began in 1969, when far-sighted and generous residents of Jupiter Island donated 73 acres of their island to the Conservancy.  The preserve was named for its rocky Anastasia limestone shoreline – the largest on the U.S. Atlantic coast. During extreme high tides and after winter storms, seas break against the rocks and force plumes of saltwater up to 50 feet skyward. It’s an impressive sight

Jupiter Beach, Florida

Jupiter Beach Park lies on the south side of the Jupiter Inlet. It has 1,700 feet of guarded beach, picnic areas with grills, restrooms, outdoor showers and a sand volleyball court. Park hours are sunrise to sunset but inlet fishing is available 24 hours.

Martin County Beaches, Florida

Along the A1A Highway  you will find as you enter Martin County that there are several more great beach stops for spending the day at.   We found these beaches as we headed south into Martin County.

Stuart Beach on Hutchinson Island has Lifeguard, Concession, Picnic Area, Restrooms, Fishing, Surfing, Swimming, Shelling, Snorkeling, Windsurfing, Dune Walkovers, Parking, Phone, Museum

Tiger Shores Beach is great for Fishing, Swimming, Surfing, Shelling, Dune Walkovers, Parking, Showers

Bob Graham Beach has Fishing, Swimming, Surfing, Snorkeling, Shelling, Dune Walkovers, Parking, Shower

Bryn Mawr Beach has Fishing, Swimming, Surfing, Snorkeling, Shelling, Dune Walkovers, Parking, Shower

The county’s beaches include individual access strips that allow for more private spots to enjoy the surf and sand or larger, guard-protected areas like Stuart Beach, Hobe Sound Beach and Sea Turtle / Jensen Beach.
